Role Overview
We are looking for a professional who can build and manage strategic relationships with biopharma, healthcare, and research stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of science and business, requiring strong domain understanding along with the ability to drive partnerships, shape opportunities, and translate scientific capabilities into meaningful business outcomes.
You will work closely with R&D leaders, global partners, and internal technical teams to identify collaboration opportunities and support growth initiatives across genomics, AI, and computational biology.
Key Responsibilities
- Business & Relationship Development: Build and manage relationships with biopharma companies, research institutes, and healthcare stakeholders to drive long-term engagement.
- Deal Structuring & Partnerships: Manage the lifecycle from lead generation to proposal development, negotiations, and execution of strategic collaborations and licensing discussions.
- Scientific-to-Business Translation: Translate complex scientific capabilities into compelling business value propositions for senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Knowledge of the Indian Ecosystem: Familiarity with local regulatory requirements, healthcare trends, and pharmaceutical market dynamics to navigate partnerships effectively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of initiatives.
- Stakeholder Influence: Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and partnership outcomes.
- External Representation: Represent the organization in conferences, partner meetings, and industry forums (travel may be required).
- Ownership & Resilience: Demonstrate persistence and accountability in managing longer sales cycles typical in scientific and research-led industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or Ph.d in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or business-focused qualification preferred.
- Experience: 3–5+ years
